Code of Conduct

dev.you is a community for builders, developers, founders, creators, and indie hackers exploring AI-native product creation.

We want this place to stay useful, practical, and respectful.

Be useful

Share real experience, practical workflows, technical details, lessons learned, experiments, launches, failures, and thoughtful opinions.

Avoid low-effort promotion, generic AI hype, spam, copy-paste content, and posts that do not help builders learn, ship, or discuss real work.

Be respectful

You can disagree, criticize tools, ideas, products, and approaches, but do not attack people.

Harassment, threats, hate speech, personal insults, doxxing, and targeted abuse are not allowed.

Be transparent

If you promote your own product, tool, company, course, newsletter, or service, make it clear.

Self-promotion is allowed when it is relevant, honest, and useful. Spam is not.

Respect authors

If you adapt, translate, summarize, or reference someone else’s work, credit the original author and link to the source.

Do not present copied work as your own.

Moderation

The dev.you team may edit tags, remove content, limit accounts, or take moderation actions when needed to protect the quality and safety of the community.

The goal is not to over-police discussions. The goal is to keep the platform useful for people building real things.
